So as to summarize the teaching and research work of the school in the previous stage and guide the proposition work of the monthly examination in December, on the afternoon of 3rd December, 2018, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the west campus convened the joint conference of the leaders with the teaching and research group and the teachers in charge of the proposition work of the December monthly exam at the second-floor conference room.
In the first place, the Teaching Affair Office focused on the characteristic work of the discipline in the first half of this semester, reflected on the successful experience and deficiencies of each group in terms of course evaluation and discussion, collective lesson preparation, teaching routines in addition to the teaching and research activities. Meanwhile, the Teaching Affair Office put forward the key emphasis and direction of the work in the next semester.
In the second place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian affirmed the teaching and research work achievements in the first semester and thanked the teachers for their hard work. He pointed out that the construction of the teaching staff was vital to the teaching quality and was also the lifeline of school work. Therefore, it was urgent to strengthen the construction of team spirit, understand the forward-looking teaching concept and carry out teachers’ professional assessment, including their professional learning. In the meantime, Principal Assistant Ling Qian required each team leader to implement the relevant teaching systems as always without concealing, perfunctoriness or delay. Instead, the teaching and research group leaders should carry out the teaching and research work creatively.
To conclude, this conference was well prepared and effective, which not only preferably created a favorable atmosphere for discussion and exchange within the teaching and research group, but also laid a solid foundation for pushing the work of the group to a higher level.
